Students:: Welcome

If you're a student and looking for a local church to be part of we'd love to welcome you here at Christ Church. We want to encourage you to get to know the Jesus and live for him, so we want to provide great Bible teaching, hospitality and the chance to study the Bible and pray with an older Christian through your time at university.

We're really keen that as a student you'll be part of what goes on at Christ Church. Committing to Christ Church doesn't mean that you can't be involved in the CU or other things and we actively encourage all our students to get involved with their CU, whether at Sheffield University or Sheffield Hallam.

In terms of time, committing to Christ Church as a student means giving us your Sundays. Firstly coming along to one of our Church Family times. Most students come to the 6.30pm. evening service (although some come to the 9.15am). After that there is Lighthouse on Sunday mornings from 10.30am ­ 12.30pm. This is our student specific time, where we¹ll study the Bible together and apply it to the situation we're in as students. There's lots of other things going on as well.
